On a beautiful sunny evening last week, I was able to photograph this awesome family. The hills that surround Pocatello are absolutely stunning this time of year! Vibrant colors, wildflowers popping, and lovely golden rays from the sun. It was a perfect night for some family photos.
Nick is one of my brother's oldest friends, so I've know him for many years. It was so fun capturing his sweet little family! Little Raelee was a tough cookie though....she did NOT want to smile for me! After I let her hold my stuffed monkey rattle, we got her to crack just a bit. But, really, it was when she got to snuggle with Diesel that her biggest smiles came out. That's a girl that loves her dog! And speaking of Diesel, what a good dog! Happy to be still and pose for most of the shoot and, oh, how patient he is with Raelee. It was truly adorable to witness.
