What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL winter wedding this was!! I had the most wonderful opportunity to shoot this wedding right before Christmas and I'm so happy I did. This couple has such a great story and I'm so happy they found each other! I had the best time spending the day with these guys and let me tell you, I had the hardest time picking out favorites for this post. I really could have just posted every photo, I loved them all!
December 18th was a very busy day, but I managed to capture it all. We started with hair and makeup, moved on to getting the bride & groom dressed, and then it was off to the First Look. The location was of particular significance since it was the area where the couple first met, so it was perfect! I loved, loved, loved the bright red roses in the bride's bouquet which provided the perfect pop of color in a winter wonderland.
After the First Look, we moved right into the couple photos. And we had to move quick....it was freezing! The bride had on a pair of beautiful (but not exactly winter-appropriate) strapy heals on and we were trying to keep her from getting frostbite! This couple knew just what to do and they posed perfectly for me. Next up, was a drive out to American Falls where the church had been decorated incredibly. Truly, it was amazing! Both families where all there and ready, so we got busy getting all the family shots done and out of the way (which is how I like it!). Then it was time to get a few shots of the decor before a short break.
Then it was Ceremony time! The ceremony was short and sweet, but you could see the love Justin and Annie have for each other and the joy they had to finally be joined as husband and wife. The Reception began shortly thereafter, so I began taking candid shots of the guest, the cutting of the cake, the dancing, etc.
The night ended with a fun sparkler exit as Justin and Annie ran to the get-away car that swept them off to their honeymoon in Mexico!
Congrats to these two lovebirds and I hope from the bottom of my heart that they are enjoying marital bliss to the fullest!
